I have always been interested in Emotiva gear and after a XPA-2 popped up locally on CL I took the leap. Powering a pair of SDA-1C and the rest of the chain is a Denon DRA-397 and Squeezebox Touch.
My first time doing seperates and I happy I did. Right away I noticed more bottom end with a overall cleaner sound.
Question for owners. I really didn't realize how huge this thing is and wasn't able to fit it in my TV stand so it sitting next to it. Does anyone have a recommendation on a stand for it? Not looking to break the bank.

Welcome to the Lounge and congrats on the jump into true amplification, sound is presented so much better with true power indeed. Now you need another amp to power the rest of them speakers hahah welcome to the addiction.

Congrats, and welcome to the Lounge! I love my XPA-2, it's a wonderful amp. Check out Sanus for a rack.

Mine is sitting on a sturdy pinewood coffee table from Ikea.

If you need a stand-alone amplifier stand that looks good & won't break the bank, consider a plant stand like these: They're inexpensive, designed to bear a lot of weight, and are reasonably attractive.

I wasn't aware of a special XPA-2 club :-) And yes, the XPA-2 has some dimension and weight, but all for the better sound.
I designed a cabinet and it is custom made. Especially the depth of the cabinet is important to fit the amp. I should be ready before the end of this month. Unfortunately custom build things don't come cheap.
A plant stand will work too, maybe consider one with wheels.
