Ordered the SR-8100 couple of weeks back ;D, and still waiting on it. The website says shipping as of 3/23/13. but it did not happen  I emailed cs and Nick answered that they had a delay in shipment. Wish I knew since I sold my AVR in anticipation of the new gear  . Does this seems like a "Deja Vue"...? I certainly do not want to open old wounds here, but my fellow lounge members have been waiting for some "X.." gear for over 3 years now...  ! |

It was mentioned to me that they might be shipping them on Friday, if not then, I am sure it won't be long after.

I got an email today from Sherbourn. They said that the shipment was delayed, so they can install the latest firmware.
They will ship it on Monday 4/1/13.

Damn, I was hoping people would have them before this $100 off promotion finishes. I am very interested in it myself, but I can't bring myself to purchase something where there's barely any information listed, and the information that is listed contradicts the image. A few examples... there's no amplifier information mentioned other than 7x80w, there's no dimensions or weight, it says HDMI 1.4 in some locations and HDMI 1.4a in others (and does it support Deep Color? I've been reading that's an issue with the PS3 with the Emotiva Preamp this is presumably based on), and worst of all, the specs list digital outputs (coax and optical) that just aren't in the rear image. I was hoping to see the manual posted by now to get some clarification, but when I emailed support last week they just said it's coming in the next few days. So I guess what I'm saying is good luck, and I'll be eagerly awaiting impressions when you get one... even if it means I'll have to pay an $100 to buy it later.  |

Well, as it turns out, they updated the site this evening to say the sale will continue until the end of this month, which should be perfect in order to get more details before then.

Got my Invoice and it looks like its it just needs the firmware updated/checked and should be shipped out this week on the way to me.  |

Is the delay now longer than that?

The SR-8100 shipped today. Sherbourn went the extra step of refunding 25 dollars for he incovinience. |
