Harryhousen was an AMAZING animator. Voyage of Sinbad and other classics all benefitted from his methods.

I always *loved* the movies in which Ray provided the stop-motion special effects. This technique is ever so much harder to do than the CGI stuff we see nowadays. Another set of films that employ this technique are the Wallace & Gromit animated films. And those are very funny, too!!
RIP, Ray, you were a giant among men...

R.I.P. Ray, he put out what are, timeless classics in stop motion animation and movie entertainment. don't think we will ever see another in our lifetime.
