I use to have a browning rifle with a stainless fluted barrel that had the flutes painted with a black epoxy. It really looked awesome. You could do the same with your lettering and maybe in some other areas for a nice contrast.

Just imagining them highly polished gold plated with matt black front inlay. $50000. People love bling.

i started building mine, think i am the only person to get the cases from Matt to diy the rest.
Working with these, you can tell that Matt the Machinist did some crazy awesome work! Hope to finish these by the weekend when i get some more time.

Mine are in transit, with a waypoint in the middle. Yours come fully assembled, just need to sit back and enjoy the ncore400's love the way everything fits together, i get a deeper appreciation feeling it and all. upgraded a few of the items along the way furutech fi-10 iecs- thank you matt for making that work for me! also will be assembling these with some Herbies' Baby Booties instead of the stock rubber feet, no idea if it makes any difference but it sure sounds cooler.

I've got a new XDA-2 waiting in the wings to give these amps some tunes.
Figured I needed an analog volume control.
I am def happy that they were assembled, lets the waypoint happen. Hopefully for many more people's benefit. I've done lots of electronics work in the past, so the minor assembly here would have been easy, but I definitely appreciate not having to do it.
Those booties do have a good ring to them.

Are you keeping the ones you have + the Merrill's? Or, will you be using 7 mono-amps in a 7.1 system? LOL!

one case temporarily done, will tidy it up a bit more eventually and probably redo some of the wiring, i hate having to use the same color wiring for different things, but i don't have much on hand at the moment. will dress power wires with some techflex find some different speaker wire, no idea what i have, but sure feels like deans wet noodle i used in my r/c days, crimped with wbt quick disconnects, replacing those with furutech disconnects when i get better wiring.

It look so clean.
Are you hoping the techflex will provide some "shielding" or simply keeping the wires clean.

It look so clean. Are you hoping the techflex will provide some "shielding" or simply keeping the wires clean. just for looks i mean if you asked someone that built this for a living, they will tell you for a hundred bucks they will add a poly shield which will block out alien signals amongst other things. nearly done with my 2nd one, off to bed though, still have a 3rd one to build, odd ball here with 3 amps hah.

I didn't know whether you were going with the carbon texflex, but then realized that was just the color. I didn't know if you were doing something like this: www.filter-wiremesh.com/wire_mesh_images/big_images/1-01.jpgand connecting it to ground. But figure isn't needed with all the AL slitting things apart, and the power cable crossing at almost 90 degrees.
