I know the XMC is still in development, but I would leap at the opportunity to purchase a version of room eq configured for a 2.2 system.
Could be designed/ styled to work with the XSP-1 via the processor loop.
Simple product suggestion, no doubt an epic amount of work.
Thoughts?

I guess the marked for it would probably be as high as the marked for the XSP-1 itself.

I'd love to see something like this from Emotiva, but I disagree about its placement in the signal chain if coming from a digital source. I wouldn't want to do a ADC->Process->DAC in the middle. Why not take the Toslink, Coax or USB signal while its in digital form, pass it to the DSP(Tact) and the send it out via Toslink or Coax to your DAC? MiniDSP already has this: www.minidsp.com/products/opendrc-series/opendrc-di

I agree about its placement if the signal coming from a digital source, but the way I was thinking about it was a way of including analogue sources as well. Perhaps a digital out on the unit would allow inputing the eq/ time aligned/ phase corrected signal to go into a different input on our DACs. I know I love sound of the PCM 1704UK chips.

I use the DSpeaker 2.0 in the processor loop, whilst not the ideal set-up it cannot be used directly between the pre and the amps as i would prefer without it creating too much hiss at the speaker. Also all my system is using balanced cables except for this, which is a double bugger.
However in this configuration it does work, and offers quite a better sound to the ears controlling up to 300hz.
