  Started on this just a few months ago. The wood platform under the stand was an experiment in turntable isolation, EPIC FAIL. Been to lazy to take it back out to the garage. My sig has equip list Hump |

Nice , my office system is a set of Sennheiser hd448 headphones lol....I've always liked the look of the Focal's and there was a nice used pair for sale local a year back and i should have grabbed them...oh well

So far I really like them, took awhile to get used to them, I have MMGs in my other system and there is quite a difference in the sound. The tweeters on the Focals can be harsh if speaker placement is not right. After I went to the D/A and coax out from the OPPO this really seemed to calm the tweeters down, they are much smoother

Hey monkumonku how did you get a pic of my Boss ? No way - ask if he has a twin brother - and I'll do the same for my boss! And he's one of those types that thinks Bose is the best there is, so I don't have to worry about him reading my comment or posting his picture in the lounge.  |
