I am looking for suggestions in troubleshooting my UPA-7. It will randomly shut down in the middle of use, it makes no difference whether the volume is low or high. The puzzling part to me is that it is random. I can be listening for a long period of time before it happens and once I turm it back on it may not happen again during that session. Although last night it clicked off three times and then was fine after that. I have checked wires to make sure none are touching and that connections are tight. And all seems well there. I have just got a repair authorization but thought I would give it one more shot tonight. Thanks for any suggestions!

My suggestion is to change out the RCA cables and the power cord. If it still happens, the speaker cables

Did you look too see "if" and I am sure you did but I once had a RCA that for some reason was touching the side of the back panel all I did was just pull it back just a lil so it wasn't touching anymore.Sometimes the RCA inputs are off center some and with the RCA cables being a lil thick they can thouch the side of the back panel.
