Personally I'd stay with the XPR-2. The difference may not be discernible to your ears. OTOH, it may be. But I wouldn't trade up. YMMV...

I have a pair of XPR-1's running my two front Martin Logan Vantage while I have not heard the XPR-2 I have had my XPR-5 hooked up them. To my ears th XPR-1's have a better grip on the vantages. While I'm not an audiphile, To my ears the XPR-1 sounded better than the XPR-5. Buddy of mine had the same set up XPR-5 hookd up to a different pair speakers when he had my XPR-1's he too enjoyed the 1's a bit more. I believe some one in the forum is running XPR-1's with a pair of Spires. At this point I probably won't go back as of right now I picked up a third XPR-1 for my center Martin Logan stage. Is it overkill maybe, however to my enjoyment is not. Either way you can't go wrong with the XPR series amp. By the way you got some nice speakers.
