I sold my Salk Song Towers and purchased Jim Salk's new Veracity ST speakers.I loved my Song Towers but these speakers are quite a step up.The bass goes down to 32 HZ in my room as they are listed on SALK site to go down to 34 HZ.Please go to SALK site for all the info.I have played all music in Direct Mode and did not use my 2 Subs and the Bass is very musical and power full not bloated. These speakers also sound very live as the performers are in the room with their instruments. The new RAAL Tweeter is awesome and Male and Female voices sound as if they are speaking live in my room and the 16 inch Woofers are very powerfull for all Music.I have played SACD,DVD Audio and Rebook CD's as they all sound wonderfull, but a poor recorded CD shows as a poor recording thus what good goes in comes out but bad recoding shows up.Jim Salk is a wonder full person to deal with and if you cannot hear his speakers call him and he will tell you his view.I have never heard of a speaker maker have so many FANTASTIC finishes as he will work with a customer as to their needs. Please check out SALK Sounds web site to see my new speakers. Bruce

Agreed. My Selahs use the same exact drivers as the Veracity ST. They're amazing to say the least. I think the W16 play better with the raal than the woofers in the HT2TL or Supercharged ST
