Tks

Do you have a surround system in your bedroom yet?

No, since surround is not very "wife friendly", I prefer to stay within my territory

Sell it to a friend for a fraction of the price you paid. Use the money to buy blue rays...
Use it in the basement/office/garage to have tunes somewhere else in your residence....

You can give it to me! I will provide a kind home where it will be petted and given warm milk everyday.

For a secondary audio-only zone, I would sell the Onkyo and use the funds to pick up a B-stock UPA-200 + whatever source you're into (if you like AirPlay and want to minimize the budget, you could do an AirPort Express + some passive attenuators to act as a source). B-stock UPA-200's are RIDICULOUSLY cheap – cheaper than most people's HT interconnects I bet.

I have an Onkyo AVR in my garage which I use in stereo for radio (inbuilt), CD's (via on old DVD player) and the seldom used third zone connection from my UMC-200. When I update the Apple TV I'll use the current one for streaming and do away with the DVD player and third zone connection.
I also have a Denon AVR which I use for the second zone in the family room plus on the verandah where it sounds great in the semi-outdoors using "All Stereo" mode with 4 speakers.
Cheers Gary

If you have the original box & packing materials its no problem, and your potential market is HUGE. (Or use it to fry eggs on top of,... ).
