This looks really terrible. Why the change?

This looks really terrible. Why the change? Not sure why the font changed? I didn't change it. Must be something going on over at ProBoards. Will inquire though.

Oh, thanks Andrew! I thought maybe it looked good on Windows, but on the Mac it seriously doesn't work.

BTW, good job on all the other changes to the board since the migration (other than the scroll-to-top button that keep obscuring the view). It's coming together.

Agreed. Is it not possible to place the button in the floating toolbar that contains the Prev and Next buttons?

The font size for the posts is now very small and harder to read. It's TOO small..
As for the top of page button, it doesn't interfere with anything for me. It's transparent and doesn't really cover up anything anyway. I just find myself still in the habit of scrolling to the top before realizing that button is there.
But the fonts.. thanks Andrew for looking into this. They are downright tiny on my screen now. None of the other pages I look at have changed so it isn't the settings in Firefox.

Let's get something readable like "Old English." LOL - Yeah, the new font's a bit wispy & dim on my Mac too.

Times New Roman was specifically designed to be the most readable of the fonts, and it's not bad at 3pt.
It's too bad we can't choose our own default font in our profile.

Fonts with serif are designed for print. On a computer screen, the serif causes the undesirable effect of the reader having a tendency to pause while reading.

While I would agree that serif fonts are designed for print, I would think that the only reason they would be problematic on a computer screen is the issue of resolution of the serifs.Maybe I've been reading newspapers for too long.
