Hi everyone
Just realized that this should have been my first post.
Bought my first stereo little over 20 years ago, turned 15 and decided to get a stereo in stead of a moped. Been upgrading/expanding over the years and when we moved to a new house in 2004 I had the possibility to divide my Home theater from stereo. Buying new gear of course. The HT is in a separate 150 sq ft room and the stereo is in the living room.
Now that I have found Emotiva I hope it will make my journey better to whatever that we are audiopeople are searching for.
Kindly
Oscar

Welcome to this forum.
As you are from Sweden did you also looked / listened to XTZ speakers?

Thx
I have only listened to XTZ speakers at hifi shows, never in a actual home. XTZ is pretty popular brand in Sweden, but they also only does sales from their own facilities. Will try to go there this summer when we are on a family road trip, would like to listen to the Divine 100.49 speakers. Unfornately most of my friends an colleges aren't that in to hifi so it narrows my possibilities to listening and comparing products.

In the Netherlands there is one dealer who sells XTZ. He doesn't have a normal shop but has a listening room. On my short list were Monitor Audio Gold series and Piega before I listened to the 99.38 (I'm a big fan of ribbon tweeters). I was immediatly "sold" and although the looks aren't any special, just black speakers, I couldn't justify a 4 times higher price of Piega. Unfortunatly I didn't listen to the Divine series (I don't have enough place for 5 Divine speakers...)

Heya Oscar. Good to meet a fellow Swede. Well I'm Swedish in name only, never been there, would like to sometime though. What's the weather like right now? Hej mplogic (Swedish hi) Todays weather is 18 oC (equals 65 F) and time is 9:53 am. But we have had sun and 22-30 oC the last 3 months and rain hasn't been present until the middle of this week so I'm fine with it. I've been lurking around this forum for about 3 months and decided register 2 months ago and I find it a very pleasant place to hang out and I'm sure you will enjoy your time here as well. Vänligen Oscar

Been there a couple of times myself. Moonshine ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) not surprised. Kindly Oscar

What do you think of your sound with your emotiva gear? I'm really liking mine ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I'm really happy with the sound, I expected an improvement but wasn't prepared how big it was/is. I always thought my Nad had power and finesse but this is something else, insane "bottom" in comparison, details, SQ, I could go on ranting but it would be like kicking in an open door. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) A problem I have now is that I want new speakers. But first I will work on the room treatments, much cheaper.
