I have an XPA-100, XPA-2 and a new XPA-3 which I received a couple of weeks ago. Now I know this is probably a dumb question but I have to ask. The 3 blue LED’s on the new XPA-3 are only about 60 - 75% as bright as my other two Emotiva amps. The dimness of the XPA-3 compared to my other two amps is a little bothersome. Is this normal with the XPA-3’s? Has anyone else noticed this with their XPA-3?

i have an xpa 3 amp.. the blue light is about the same intensity as the xpa 1s..
i read a thread awhile back about the blue lights at the power button varying a bit.. i also just noticed today a thin film on the window of the amps.. is your film on or off.. just asked a question about that myself..
in the end i think i wouldnt worry about it too much..
cheers..

Yes I have removed the protective film. Maybe someone else has noticed this problem.

I have the XPA-3 Gen1 and UPA-7 Gen1--both sets of lights are the same intensity. I can however see a slight difference between the power buttons of the two amps and UMC-1.
On a side note, it's really a shame Emotiva doesn't give us a way to turn off the power button lights.

I actually just noticed that all 3 of my lights no longer light up. Not entirely a big deal but it was always a great indicator that all 3 channels were working.

It is not uncommon for there to be a varying degree of brightness of the blue LEDs on Emotiva gear. It has been discussed here before.
I will say that my XPA-3 did match my UPA-1s and the XPA-5 that replaced it.

You do not specifically mention if you have mixed company, Gen 1 vs Gen 2. I "THINK" there is a difference. I "THINK" Emotiva dimmed down the lights for Gen 2 equipment because of all the complaints about the brightness. You will have to confirm with someone who has both, but I know I read it somewhere on here.

^You are correct. My Gen 2 gear is different than my Gen 1 in terms of brightness and (slight) color.

I unplugged the power cord, disconnected and reconnected the interconnects, switched the LED lights off then on, and plugged in the power cord. When I powered the amp back up, the LED lights were working again. So it was some combination of those that fixed it. Strange but I've definitely seen stranger when it comes to electronics.
