My Sherbourn SR-120 will not let me choose the all stereo mode for any source. Any ideas about hoe to fix this?
It has a UMC-1 built in, in case that helps answer the question.
Thanks,
Siggie

In the setup menu is stereo chosen to be visible? If not, it won't appear.. Menu>setup>input setup> visible yes or no. Try that..

Just curious, have you been able to get 'all stereo' to work?

Porscheguy, I do not see a way to change the available modes using the input setup menu. "All stereo" is always visible when I try to change modes for each source, but it never lets me choose it. I called Sherbourn tech support and got an explanation. Apparently, "all stereo" mode is only available if your source is putting out PCM, so, if you really want all stereo, switch to PCM.

Cable box, Xbox, DVD, cd, and blu ray. Sorry, I meant what format the sources were. Dolby, DTS, PCM, Multi-channel, Two channel?

Wasn't sure what you meant. I never use stereo, only direct..

Wasn't sure what you meant. I never use stereo, only direct.. "All stereo" mode puts the full left channel sound out to all the left speakers and the full right channel sound to all the right speakers (and I think the center gets both channels). People use it for ambiance at parties. I was just trying to test out and break in all of my speakers. Siggie
