Compared to $5000 monitors and it didn't get trashed. Very nice. That's saying a lot as recording engineers aren't really fooled by audiophile hoo-ha as they concentrate on actual results for their livelihood. So when you take $5000 monitors, you are usually getting near that in terms of worth vs an audiophile $5000 set at least for the given application. So for it to not be embarrassed - in fact it didn't seem like it was even slightly embarrassed - is huge.
I also understand their description of the differences in treble. I've heard folded ribbon tweeters on cheaper monitor gear and I did notice the characteristic they mentioned. That last bit of "piercing" isn't quite there at least on the cheaper gear I auditioned.
Good job Emotiva.

Nice review, thanks for posting! I love my Stealth 8's and the review pretty much echoes my opinion of them. Very detailed, not at all fatiguing, they are simply excellent speakers!

For music or movies, they are superb. The Stealth as a center is great, too - dialogue is crystal clear. So... gonna buy some now? Hmmm?  They really are great speakers. |

They really are great speakers.
