I'm in desperate need of a pair of subs to go with my new mains. Although they are absolutely great at what they do, they are 3dB down at 60HZ and beg for some low frequency supplementation. This isn't a fault, rather it was a design consideration when I built the mains. I always knew they'd need subs. The issue is that I'm close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Rythmik F15s, but I'll kick myself if Emotiva comes out with some awesome Carver design that will make me wish I waited. Tell me to wait, and I will!  |

Nice gambit, Chuck. I'll ride with you. I've downloaded the plans for the Rythmik DS1200 build but haven't bought the kit yet. I'll wait 'til Emofest for Bob's/Emo's intro of some new subs to tantalize us.

I don't know, Chuck. I have a pair of the F15HP subs and they are pretty amazing. The servo control makes them so quick and ensures there is NO overhang.
Maybe wait until EmoFest weekend, just to be prudent.

I'm also waiting patiently waiting on news regarding new Emo subs. I've got store credit ready to burn and replacing my old Paradigm sub is at the top of the list..

I do hope that Emotiva comes out with something awesome. The EuroPly I used on my mains comes in 1" and I think it would be ideal. |

You might want to check out Salk/Rythmik subs which use a custom. USA box combined with Rythmik servo.
