My new two channel room with Stealth 6's

Just got them home from Emofest and had 10 mins with them so far. Wow. Love this much simplier set up. Oppo 93 to XDA-2 XLR to Stealth's.

And no I have not cleaned everything up just yet so the equipment and cabling still needs work to make it neat and tidy.




Okay so after a few hours with this setup WOW!

Dialed in the placement (very easy by the way especially given my sorted Maggies past). Got'em a closer to the back wall and......THE BASS. Okay so not subwoofer level, but so very much plenty for MY listening needs.

Super clean, quiet and simple setup...

Great soundstage, clear placement and intimate voices.

I am not a reviewer so I don't have all the fancy words to describe this but let me just say as a long time Magnepan owner of many speakers, I am quite pleased with what I am hearing as an all around setup.

I had my caveats about going pro active speakers for my two channel room, and no longer. May be one of the best all around two channel setups I have had.

So far I would say the top end is comparable to the 4's but its the bottom end where these clearly excel. But then that comes at 4 times the price .

i am jealous. bought the xda-2 at the emofest but couldn't afford the stealths. i want the stealth 8s.

I listened to the Stealth 8's at Emofest and they were my favorite. The Stealth series speakers are much bigger than people realize.
The mixing room was my favorite sounding room overall.
