Dear friends,
On behalf of Emotiva, I would like to thank everyone that came out to Emofest 2013 this year. It was the highest attended Emofest ever! For those who were unable to make it, we’ll have photos and videos to share in the next week or two.
On the heels of such an exciting weekend, which included exclusive details about the soon-to-be-released XMC-1, I’d like to take a moment to address some of the forum posts in the last 24 hours.
First and foremost, I apologize for some of the overly enthusiastic and reactive posts from some of our employees in regards to the release date and new pricing details of the XMC-1. Please note that these are personal opinions of the individuals, and their comments do not reflect how we feel collectively as a company. They were quick to come to the defense of the XMC-1 (and maybe me too) because we are producing a pre/pro that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, unless you were at Emofest! Sometimes enthusiasm and passion can make one say things in the heat of the moment that might, after careful reflection, be revised. I know I’ve been guilty of this myself a time or two. We take quality and high performance personally, and only want to produce products that we’d have in our own homes.
We are very sensitive to your feelings in regards to the recent price increase announcement. The decision is something we do not take lightly and the fact that we even have to is a disappointment to us as well. Our philosophy is to produce the highest quality products and sell them at the absolute lowest prices that we can, and we regret that it is no longer possible to sell the XMC-1 at $1499. Believe me, we wish we could.
What we can promise you is that this revolutionary new product is being offered you, our most loyal customers, at the absolute lowest price possible. We are confident that the XMC-1 raises the bar for performance, flexibility, and longevity, and we here at Emotiva can’t wait to share it with you. As soon as the holiday weekend is over, and we recover from Emofest 2013, we’ll have more information and details about the new XMC-1 to share with you. Until the, enjoy the rest of your day. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Sincerely,
Big Dan
