I have an 2012 LG TV (HDMI 1.4) that could sense the presence of my old receiver and simply take control (I am assuming through CEC) of the volume control so that if I turned up the volume on the TV, the TV would turn up the receiver volume. (Keep in mind the receiver was actually the only component playing audio). This was very useful as it allowed my stock Comcast remote to control my old receiver volume even through the remote had no specific code for the receiver but did have a code for the LG TV.
Now I have a Sherbourn SR-8100 which has CEC but I have been unable to make the same feature work? I this possible?
