The Carver tube amps put out the best sound I heard at Emofest, and I heard a lot of great sound. And these tubes are downright sexy! I wish I had enough of an electrical background to be able to understand the info in the links you provided.

Trey I have a 12 pack on order, and will post some impressions when I get them burned in, and yes, the Carver Tubes are among the best tube amps ever built. I am proud to have the best of the best in my rig at home.

I've heard they are wider and the Cherry 180 as well as the Black beauty 305 seem to have the power tubes kind of tightly packed. PLEASE let us know your impressions... Thanks! P.S. Were did you order them from? ...

These tubes are super hard to get at the moment, and I am not able to get the tubes until at least the end of this month. I do know that Bob has a set of them already and simply LOVES the tubes and the potential they have for amplifiers, as well as reducing winter heating costs.

Too bad I didn't know you were a dealer before I ordered my 8 pack of KT120's, maybe I could have thrown a couple bucks your way. I'm definitely interested in your impressions of the KT150.

I'm surprised there still are not any reviews out there.

Hi ocezam
Your Jolida JD 502P monoblocks can handle the new Tung Sol KT-150 tubes? I know the 502P can definitely handle the KT-120 tubes. Did you have to modify your Jolidas to handle the KT-150s? If so what mods were done and who did them? Did Jolida sign off saying that the stock 502P amps can handle the new Tung Sol KT-150s? Sorry for all the questions.

I don't know where you got the idea that I have KT-150s. I'm very happy with my 120s and have no plans to change them, hence I've never spoke with Jolida about compatability. However, Michael Allen president of Jolida is very accessable through their website. He and I emailed dozens of times prior to my buying these amps. FYI, the only people I know who have direct personal experience with the KT-150 are luvtubes ( John emotivalounge.proboards.com/user/15495 ) right here on our forum and Bob Carver himself. Peace
