Great speaker! i love listening to the Wilsons. i have had no experience with driving them with EMO amps though, but i do have driving the KEF 207/2s (was a fight between sophias and Kefs for me) with XPA 1 monoblocks. for me the gain was way too high which has in part been changed by the XPRs. For me in the end I switched to a ASR emitter which is just fantastic, whilst it may not have the tight fisted control of the Emo's it makes beautiful music. i must be getting older.
However it must be said that my choice was a personal one based on my listening needs as opposed to specs. I believe you should take the advice of the many Emo friends and try them out. I for one can't wait to hear what you think!
