This manufacturer is at the RMAF. He has these speakers at a cheap price. The ZAL36T is $259 at the show.. They sound good. I think the stereo from one speaker is odd, but I have a master bathroom that is 10x26 with a pitched ceiling that is 16 feet high along the 26 ft wall. There is a two foot deep shelf running the length of the room at nine feet high. I pre wired for speakers on top of the shelf. I could set a pair of these up there and you would get stereo imaging in either end of the room. I. Think with a regular set up, you would have left channel in the left end and right channel in the right end. What do you think? At $250, you almost can't go wrong... I mean, I know these are not hi end, but for this application, I think they might be cool. They have a complex crossover network and really do sound good. lZEALTH AUDIO

Nah - The website lists them at $690 per pair. The $250 might have been AT the audio show only.

Does anyone have any opinions about the left/right mix from one cabinet?

An interesting design concept. They sort of remind me of something similar I saw back in the 80's but I can't remember what they were called. Regardless, if they sound good go for it.

I was hoping you would think this design was worthwhile. Plus the guy is Vet - Navy, he said BUDS or something to do with the teams. Either way, I will have a set playing tonight.

Bradley, I sent you a PM with comments. Sorry, but my general feeling is one of suspicion/skepticism about all of his efforts over 20 years to develop this speaker. What is the weight? Check his DD214. Does he have a patent? Waranty? Where is his factory? Can you return them (in writing). What is the address of his company. Can't comment on his design if he doesn't give any details at his anorexic website. Is he still homeless like 3 years ago as I found on the internet. Enough said.

They remind me of the EPI 201 / Epicure 20, similar front facing 2 way with another 2 way on a slant upward. They were more late 70's, and pretty good in their price range. Attachments:

The EPIs look like the system I was remembering. Thanks!

a year or so later...
I put these speakers in my Son's bedroom. Powered by a Rotel 1066 six channel amp with an older Rotel RDV-1050 DVDS player as the transport, using a control freak for the volume control.
I split the L/R and used four channels of the amp. Bi- amping each speaker via it's two sets of posts.
I have created a monster. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
I showed him where the connections were to feed the amp. Explained how he could change the connections to make them LL/LR + RR/RL. Then I showed him the gain trims on the front of the amp. I gave him the little screwdriver and turned him loose.
Later that day, I opened the door to his room to see him sitting in his "sweet spot" actively listening, then jumping up to adjust the gain to the upper reversed channels.
He is eight, his name is Lucas and he is a tweaker.
