Built a pair of these for a lark. Had enough MDF and oak left over from other projects, and the drivers were only $13 (woofer) and $14 (tweeter) each. The tweeter John Krutke originally spec'd is out of production. But he came up with a modeled but untested crossover design using a Dayton driver, the ND20FB, with slightly different parameters (but looks identical to the discontinued Aura NT1). Crossover looks right on the money. Design page is hereBoxes built, but no baffle cutouts yet 'cuz drivers had not yet arrived: Finished: Atop Airmotiv 6's, in place. Driving them with a mid-80s vintage Sony ES receiver: FR and THD, per REW: THD not quite as good as the AM6's, but they are just as smooth. Not bad for < $60 each.

Great Job! They look good. I would like to get a pair of Kef LS50 for my desktop but they cost to much. So I am looking at DIY bookshelf/Mini designs. Speading alot of time at Zaph audio. Anyway,, thanks for posting your build.
