I would like the volume ring led to be as dim as the standby led I am assuming that there are 2 sep leds used to do this, am I correct? Anyone done a mod to dim the really bright blue led? I was never one for leds that light up the room I have a slew of studio gear and all the leds are nice and dim by comparison and yes this was from the get go ... most gear I have has standard leds that don't bother me at all. I also have an Oppo deck and that has several dif dim settings on the display, so as I suggestion to the design team I would love to see a small slider switch on the back that would let a picky user select high or low just like the switch on the back of my Carver M-500t that allows me to dim its Meters to my liking.
Would this mod require a resister to dim it? anyone try this or have suggestions. It sounds good this is just a preference of mine as it is I have my Mini-X naked.
See pic, I much prefer this look as I think it looks slicker and cleaner then I just finished it of with some button head allen screws.
