I dislike this girly-man obsession with trim! Emotiva, establish an 'mo' and stick with it. I admire the First Watt approach to building everything in the exact same enclosure. It's what's inside that counts. Hang on, are you accusing me (us) of being "girly-man" because we want our gear to look the same? When in the same post you admire First Watt because all of their products look the same? OR Are you accusing Emotiva of being "girly-man" because they want their gear to look the same within Generations? When in the same post you admire First Watt because all of their products look the same? Should we be taking a fence (sic) to that Cheers Gary

No electronic box is ever going to look good, at least to everyone. The important thing is the cost effective excellence of the package. That is the real engineering significance of Emotiva . I vote for consistence of looks in line with economics. So, I understand that you want your Emotiva stuff to look alike - so do I - so I say to Emotiva Quit playing around with trim pieces. Establish a MO and STICK with it!'

You're O.K. then - 2 parts John Wayne to one part girly-man just gets by!

My rack matches, I take the trim off and put black set screws in the threaded holes. I think it gives it a very clean and quality look.

Stupid question here , only because I've removed dozens of these darn screws...I'm trying to unscrew the Trims to replace them with a Kramer X Face plate and I can't seem to find the right size of the HAX/L keys I thought they were 1/8" which doesn't seem to fit??? very odd I just got to remove one screw, the others can't budge or even fit. I've tried several other sets I have around my place but it's all the same!
Thanks
Dan
