I have the rear interconnect board out of my XPA-1L amp and noticed the new one does not have the piece which is soldered and has a resistor or what have you that screws down to one of the main circuit boards. Question is do I need to remove it from the old board and re-solder it to the new one, I'm guessing I do but would like to hear from a staff member who knows of what I am talking about. Chad Here are a couple of photos for reference

That's an RC high pass filter. It's used to bleed off high frequency noise. I would absolutely transfer it. But, of course consult with the manufacturer for definitive instructions.

Your smarter than I am lol, I'm surprised the replacement doesn't include it, I do have soldering skills so I will be alright but like I said just surprised Chad

Confirmed it must be taken from the old board and put on the new one, simple really.

Nice to see locking XLRs now.
Not that that's strictly relevant to your post, but just an observation!
Anyway, the boards have the same revision number, which is what would tell me that it should be transferred for certain.

Done and done, new board in and listening to music as I type this, thanks Emotiva for sending the part out and letting me fix the issue myself keeping downtime to a minimum.
