The plan for the subs is to initially set the crossover lower than 60Hz so there will be a dip around the crossover point. This will let me set the sub level. I'll then turn the mains off and adjust the sub to -6db at 60Hz. I'll then need to adjust the subs to +35 degrees which is what I measured the mains to be at 60Hz with REW.
REW is an awesome tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're TEASING us, Chuck - LOL - but it'll be worth the wait. Boom, What's gonna be really cool is I'm planning on using the PEQ in JRMC to flatten the whole low end once integrated. My motto is think about it 10x the amount of time you do!

I'll post charts and stuff from REW when I come back.
For now I'm more than happy - bone crushing bass, pretty flat to the low 20s.
The result was worth a year of planning, design and work............
For now:

Hey Chuck, Awesome stuff - bet it sounds amazing!! ...Would love to see the rest of your REW adventures if you have them? On another note, was surprised to read (somewhere) that you're using your PC's onboard SPDIF output, rather than USB to your XDA-2, making the XDA-2 the 'soundcard' ...any particular reason for this decision?

Congrats on your beautiful subs Chuck, I have to say that they look quite compact, I which is a good thing for me in a NYC apt. I was looking at the 12" for me but looking at yours I can probably swing the bigger bros, also the finish looks top notch too.

WOW!
Chuck, that is an awesome system! What a great job you did. It all fits so perfectly in those corners it almost seems to disappear into the room. The subs are a super idea and look perfect as stands. The entire system must sound fabulous, talking about dynamic range and epic bass! Emotiva XDA-2; Emotiva XSP-1; 2x Emotiva XPA-1L; Heresy MTM (DIY Build); 2x Rythmik F15HP That's what I would call a knock you on your assss system! PS: I hope you are recovering well after your surgery. Take good care. Chuck

Hope your neighbors are the understanding sort, Chuck. Otherwise you'll have the noise police knocking on your door.. But hey, turn up the volume and you won't hear them!

Chuck, I realize that you are not home this week to reply, but I thought of something while looking at your wire pics. My plate amps have a current sensing setting for powering on. I did not use trigger wires for them at all. I wonder if yours will do this as well.
I hope that all is well with you. I hope to see you recovering from this bump in the road this coming week.

Back to talking music and equipment.
I am so glad I took DarySky's advice and got the F15HP subs.
These speakers go as low as any speaker I've heard and lower that any I've owned.
It's hard to explain what the servo system brings. It it the tightest sub sound I've ever heard. On the opening base drum beat of Hold the Line by Toto, I thought a shotgun had gone off. Only on reply did I hear it as the Bass Drum.
This is by far the best speaker system I've ever owned...
