14 guage for short runs. 12 guage for longer runs.
Unless you think you need super conductivity, and run a 9 guage for a short run like me.
Emotiva speaker cables are 10 guage.

I see it's your first post, welcome to the forum. This is a great place. I've learned so much here and still have a long way to go. Wire gauge for most amps should be,,,,,,,,,,,some use 8 or 10 or 12 or 14, 16, at the thinnest, they will say a percentage of your equipment blah blah blah. After all of that, mind that none of it was helpful, I use Emotiva or Zu cables and interconnects. It kind of like, What's your favorite ice cream? Some people have $800.00 cables and some have $5.00 cables. Somewhere in between is a safe bet.
There are many that will be much more articulate then I .
Glad to have you here, hang around . We're a great bunch of NUTS!!!!
Peace,
Nick

Welcome to the Lounge. How long are the speaker wires? The Belden 1313A is 10 AWG and should be good even for fairly long runs.
