I snagged a pair of the V-Moda Crossfade LPs from the Amazon Goldbox Deal also.At that price I couldn't resist.I ended up with the White Pearl version just for something different.The Reds were gone and I considered the Gunmetal Black but I have a lot of black stuff already.Thanks to tasdom for the post in the deals thread.

LOL.... I picked up a pair in "Gunmetal Black" earlier. Just checked and it looks like only "White Pearl" and "Phantom Chrome" remain. I already own the Audio Technica ATH-M50s and the Sony MDR-V6, but considering the price and all of the glowing reviews of the V-MODA Crossfade LPs, I couldn't resist.....  |

I'm intrigued about Oppo's upcoming planar headphones... expected in early 2014. Hemster,do you have any more info on these? There's not much info released todate by Oppo. I'm hoping they'll release something real soon. |

Thanks for the links PK,it's more than I had before.I have to say that if I based my decision strictly on looks,I probably would not buy those as they are pretty boring and failed to move me at all.Fortunately Oppo has a good history of performance and I don't care so much how the cans look if they kick tail with performance.Besides,I can't see em when they are on my head anyway. It's the fact that they are planar magnetics that caught my attention more than anything. Now if we could just hear a little about the Emo cans,hmmm? |

So I ordered these on the 8th of December from Amazon. I opted for the free shipping as I'm sometimes cheap! I received an email that I would receive these on the 17th via FedEx. Kind of a long time I thought but with the holidays I figured tis the season. When they hadn't arrived on the 20 th I called fedex to inquire as to where my package was as the last scan on it was Brooklyn MN on the 16th. FedEx informed me they were at my local post office and that all I had to do was go and sign for them. So off I go on Saturday morning to the post office with high anticipation. Of course they were not there. The 2 young ladies working searched all over the tiny building with no luck. So back home I go and decided to call Amazon to resolve my issue. The young gentleman I talked to said no problem that he will next day air them and I will receive them on Monday the 23rd via UPS.
I just got home and they are here. A big shout out to Amazon customer service and UPS!!! Although this is my first pair of headphones I have to say I think they sound remarkably good. Jamming to the Kings Of Leon with a smile on my face
