Hello, I have two X-Ref10 subs that I have linked in series via the the balanced input and output connectors. Let's call the sending sub Sub1 and let's call the receiving sub Sub2. If I connect Sub1 to my processor using the balanced input of Sub1, both Sub1 and Sub2 receive the signal from the processor. However, if I connect Sub1 to my stereo preamp using the RCA inputs of Sub1, Sub1 receives the signal from the stereo preamp, but Sub2 does not. This suggests that the Balanced Out connector of the X-Ref10 only outputs the signal on the Balanced In connector and not the RCA input connectors. However, in the 'Outputs' section on page 10 of the X-Ref10 manual, it states that: "The balanced (XLR) output on the X-Ref 10 provides a duplicate of the input signal and is intended for connecting one or more additional X-Ref 10 (or other) subwoofers." This seems to imply that the balanced output of the X-Ref10 should send out either input signal. Is there something wrong with my sub, or does the X-Ref10 only output the balanced input signal? If it only outputs the balanced signal, then whoever wrote the manual did a pretty poor job explaining this aspect of the X-Ref10's feature set. Thanks for the help. DEK
