I want the LOUNGE opinion on this. should I purchase this or go different brand. what aspect ratio 16:9 or 2.35:1 should I go with? Which ratio be best for 4k display (near future upgrade) what gain should I get? 0.8 gain is the darkest screen from BLACK DIAMOND ZERO EDGE. I have the Epson 5010 with a SI matte white screen and would love to try the 5030 with a Black Diamond. I found this users photos to be helpful: polkabecky.tumblr.com/post/37219732681/screen-innovations-black-diamond-photosMy setup is in the basement with a black ceiling and the screen wall is black. I tried a few screens but they had visible grain on bright scenes then I tried the SI Matte white and it is crisp with no visible artifacts.

I think with the black diamond I would stay 16:9 the Black Diamond screen should lessen the distraction from the bars when watching a movie.
If you get an Epson projector and want to get a 2.35:1 screen you would need to get the 6030 and an anamorphic lens.
I hope to get a auto masking system someday but they are expensive.

so I did not purchase a HD Projector yet. my budget is 4500 U.S dollars NOW. I really like the Panasonic 8000 and the Epson 5030 but I will wait for 2014 projector that should come out late 4 quarter 2014. hoping for 4k projector around 4 grand BAD NEWS is that Panasonic is out of consumer projector and television. WELL that is the rumor. Also looks like Sony is out of the television/projector game or they are retooling their portfolio. this is very bad for consumers.
