Just posting to see if anyone has thoughts on my delimma.
I like to play PC games from time to time on the big screen. Back when I had my Yamaha RX-A3000, it was a simple plug into the HDMI-in, and I was instantly gaming on a huge monitor. Replace the Yamaha with the Oppo BDP-103 (which I am using as a preamp also) When i am using my mouse during normal computer use, it seems to be ok, but as soon as I load a game, I get serious input lag with both my mouse and my keyboard. Makes accurate shooting nearly impossible.
Any thoughts on why there is a difference and a fix are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an sync delay. Usually with movies there's a way to sync the voices with a setting but I doubt that's possible with games. Try this....disable the v-synch in your game / graphics card control panel menu. That should prevent some of the input lag. Note you may experience some screen tearing which may be annoying.
