Ok folks! Two great things happened tonight! 1. My daughter and I were the featured speakers at the North Carolina Tour de Cure Kick-Off event, where we got to share our story. 2. The ADA video we guest starred in was aired tonight for the very first time! Here's our video! I can't tell you how proud I am of my little girl! Click the link to see the tour video featuring.... Us! :-) www.flickr.com/photos/dwayland/12667236865/Please feel free to share it! And please, if you can, please consider making a small donation to this truly wonderful organization. Here's a shot of us talking at tonight's event.

It's very quiet around here. :-) A little hump day bump day for a great cause! In diabetes related news, my daughter was hit with the Noro virus and ended up in the ER yesterday very dehydrated, with high blood sugar and with high ketones. Diabetes sure makes things a whole lot worse when you get something like that. She's doing much better today fortunately. Help put an end to diabetes and consider making a small donation to my Tour de Cure ride. Thanks!!!

Great video! Sorry to hear about your daughter. Fingers crossed she is back up on the bike again soon! Fortunately she got over it pretty quickly and is back at it. Glad you liked the video! We are very excited to have been a part of it. More exciting news: our video was submitted to the national ADA and they have included it on their web site AND will be taking additional interview footage and creating an expanded "story" of US for use nation wide! Cool!!! I have all of my Emotiva forum family to thank for the opportunities that have come our way as of late! We are making a difference and having an impact nation wide! What's next??? Who knows. Consider making a small donation and see! :-) Cheers all! Sincerely, Derek Wayland See you all at Emofest!!!

Quick question, how does emotiva know if we donate so we can be entered into the drawing? Great question! As I have done in years past, I will provide a list of donators and donation amounts as provided by my ADA Tour Center. I simply download an excel spreadsheet directly from my donation web site and send it to Emotiva. I hope that helps. Thanks for the support! Cheers, Derek
