Currently own LMC-1 and LPA-1

Hey guys, I bought my LMC-1 and LPA-1 back in late 2007. I'd like to purchase the new UMC-200 or maybe the XMC-1.

Does my 40% discount from these products I bought in 2007 apply to the new gen stuff?

I see on the UMC-200 it says...

"It's time to upgrade!
*Purchase the new UMC-200 and receive 25% off Emotiva processors for life (details). If you hold a Generation 2 processor upgrade certificate you may redeem it for 40% off the UMC-200."


Isn't the LMC-1 a Generation 1 processor?

The 40% card is for a gen 2 product. I think that's what they meant. You can definitely use it for the umc-200, but it only takes off 40% of the full price, not the sale price. You'd be better off buying on sale and selling your card, or waiting and use it for the XMC-1.
