Hello, all. This is one of those existential problems - there is probably a thread on this, but I can't find it! The search function seems to never work properly, no matter what I always get this error when I look for something:
Oops, there was an error!
Could not connect to search server. Please try again.
I was trying to look up information on the new phono pre-amp that is supposed to be available for sale any day now.

Goto google. Then paste this in there: "site:http://emotivalounge.proboards.com/" followed by a space and then type whatever you want to search for. That should get you better results than the proboards search feature So for instance you want to search for new speakers on google it would look like this in the search field site:http://emotivalounge.proboards.com/ new speakers

Excellent workaround, Gar, but ProBoards really SHOULD have a better search feature. If we don't complain, then we deserve what we get.

I agree with boom,we need to complain about the "search engine" on Pro Boards as it is so poor as to be useless.I also agree with garbulky,as of now, pretend there is no search feature on Pro Boards and life will be much better for you.Even a Hoover doesn't suck as bad as the pro Boards search feature.
