Short answer = Yes sir. Kappa 9s if I remember their impedance curve, only fall below four ohms for narrow frequency bands (around 40 Hz. & at 9KHz). The XPR-1 monos will NOT have a problem with this, IMHO.

I agree that the XPR-1's won't have any issues driving the Kappa 9. However, it wouldn't hurt to call Emotiva for piece of mind.

I agree; get the OK from Emotiva. The Kappa 9 didn't get tagged with the nickname 'Amp Killer' for nothing. Here's another impedance curve for the Kappa 9 (click on the image to make it larger)

The XPR-1 is exceptionally capable, it would be my amplifier of choice for Arnie Nudel's awesome Infinity of well known fame. Another vote to contact Emotiva to be sure never hurts, but the current swing out of the XPR-1 is amazing. I think a great combo in the making here. I am a big fan of the Kappas.

While <1ohm is REALLY awful, especially at the frequencies charted, I'd want to know MORE information. I'd want to know PHASE DATA. If you have a huge phase angle where impedance is 2 ohms or less, than you POTENTIALLY have problems. Very Very FEW amps will work well into <2ohms at 45 degrees Capacitive OR Inductive. This will Really cut into available power, even with the above average sensitivity of the '9/

IMO you are better off with a pair of AR9's if you can find them

People make decisions, often about speakers, for little or no reason that'd make sense to other people. AR9 VS Kappa9? NOBODY buys a speaker that is 'easy to drive' simply for THAT reason. If so? Who with more than ONE active brain cell would have bought the Apogee Scintilla? 1ohm? LESS. Amp Killer? Notorious. Only the Krell seemed immune. Oh! Yeah! They sound amazing TO THIS DAY and still demand a premium on the used market. And STILL kill amps.
When I was starting out in this 'hobby', I was IN LOVE with AR3a, an early acoustic suspension type. Over the years? Braun Tri-amp. DCM Time Windows or even the ORIGNAL Large Advent. BUT, I've owned Magnepan for 35 years or so. The original feeling has not changed much over the years. I even flirted briefly with JBL 4311s.

Just asking, people in social media use different ways to convey meanings.

Yes, That'd = That would.
I tend to write the way I speak. And I have zero to do with most social media. Facebook? Twitter? Linkdin? Nope. I prefer AntiSocial Media. I'm familiar with new generation shortcuts, like IMO and LOL, however.
