I set up my SR-120 with my verizon dvr and my sony bdp-s5100 all via hdmi connections. When playing Blu-ray Discs with Dolby true hd or dts master audio sound formats I cannot get the SR-120 to play them. The sony sound setting is on auto (PCM is the other option), but in the sr120 menu I cannot get it on either true hd or dts master. It seems to want to play Dolby digital 48khz. I was thinking the receiver would recognize the sound format being passed from the Bluray, but it does not. In the receiver menu it will not let me choose either of those formats.
If anyone knows what set up step I've missed or any tricks I would appreciate it.
The speaker configuration is a 6.1 set up of in wall emotive 8.2s and a paradigm sub.
Thanks!

Check page 27 of the Sony manual : make sure this is set to "OFF".
x[BD Audio MIX Setting] [On]: Outputs the audio obtained by mixing the interactive and secondary audio to the primary audio. [Off]: Outputs the primary audio only. Select this to output HD audio signals to an AV amplifier (receiver).
