Hi Keith,
I had a look at your board and the design you used and I am pondering this question. Have you tried the signal from the headphone amp and use it as a preamp? In marketing terms, your headphone amp if used as a preamp would be called a discrete output stage. I assume it is class A or will be class A when used on a load of 1k ohm or more. Who knows it might actually sound better than the op amp stage. Didn't have a chance to try that on my own set up yet. But based on the specs it won't be that bad...

Hi Oon. I can tell you this is possible. Did you also know that the XDA-2 already has two sets of outputs that it puts out simultanenously?
