I believe many consumers either don't know what ARC is, or how to utilize it in their system. A video from Emotiva explaining it and how to take advantage of it would be welcomed.

Turn it off - it doesn't work well for mixed brands of components. It's mainly for lightweight systems like a smart tv with a powered soundbar.

Shouldn't that be the job of the sales person selling you the TV? Why not ask WalMart to post a video showing customers how to use their TVs to the fullest extent?

Bedroom system, TV to sound bar with powered sub that also has HDMI switching in it.
My main system does not utilize ARC, I use my AVR and/or XSP-1.
Peace,
Nick

It works well with my My Samsung TV and is very useful. I believe Emotiva would be well served by providing videos for basic setup. They would be viewed by consumers as a company that is focused on helping its customers get the most out of their equipment.

I have ARC on my setup and it works great. Panasonic GT50 to a Denon 4311. It was tricky to setup, but once I did, it works flawlessly. I use my phone to browse for a YouTube video, throw it to the TV using the YouTube app on my phone and the app on the Panasonic, then the Denon automatically switches the signal and picks up the audio from the TV as opposed to the cable box or whatever source I was on. Only problem is that I think the YouTube app and Netflix app on Panasonic doesn't do 5.1 audio.
