I have a pair of Tara Labs bi wire speaker cables that are currently terminated to banana plug on both ends. I want to convert them to single spades on the amp end and true bi wire on the other. Bare wire may be okay on the speaker end to connect to my Magnepan 1.6's. Anyone have a recommendation? Do they may a spade adapter that slides over the banana's for the amp end? If they do it that a good idea or should I look to get the bare bi wires terminated on to new spades? Is that I big deal to do as a DIY or do I need to take to a pro?

You can remove the bananas on the amp side and put spades on. What size cabling is the Tara Labs? 12awg? You're best off getting crimp spades...and then fill with silver solder. The twist on spades will work but a bit harder to deal with lots of wire. - Sometimes the terseness of my reply can't be blamed on my phone.
