I just got my XPA-200 yesterday and I am using it to power my back surrounds(Paradigm Mini Monitors) in a 7.1 setup. So far it sounds very good with my AIX calibration disc which has some good 7.1 Dolby TrueHD tracks. The other 5 speakers(Paradigm Ref.20s) are powered by a XPA-5 gen1 amp. I may try hooking the XPA-200 up to the front speakers just to see how it sounds compared to the XPA-5, but I need to let the XPA-200 break-in for awhile before making any accurate judgements. Anyone using the XPA-200 for their front speakers? Thanks.
Matt

Hi Matt,
I own a XPA-200 and had it powering my front left/right for about 13 months. It's a great sounding amp!
Give it a try on your mains and see what you think.

I tried the xpa-200 on my front speakers with the xpa-5(gen 1) powering everything else and I like the results so far. I had to increase the levels of the Oppo 105(I am using analog) in the frt speakers about 2db in order to get everything balanced since the gain on the xpa-200 is 29db compared to 32db in the xpa-5. Stereo and MC music sounds really nice. I may just keep it like this for now.
