Any plans to offer XPR-1s with VU meters? That big front panel space is sad sitting there all open and inviting but filled with tiny little blue dots. It is just screaming out for a nice big honking weighted old school VU meter with blue backlighting. Yeah, it would make them look like Mac mono blocks to which I say...Yes, and your point is? I would pay extra for a big VU meter option. I've owned Mac and an original GAS Ampzilla and I want meters.
Be honest...few people really NEED 1KW monoblock power amps...but we WANT 1KW monoblock power amps. Adding meters as an optional upgrade would bump the coolness and drool factor up by a factor of 10. If you want to get all moderny like, stick an OLED screen in there with selectable display options such as power output, power draw, temperature and...obviously....a big realistic VU meter.

(I had the matching pre-amp as well and it worked as well aside from a problem with the phono-input).
