While I didn't use it to my full power, I did have it loud enough to pick up some of the low frequency notes.

I cranked it as well and was very pleased with my audio gear choices!

I ran all the game that I watched pretty loud with the center channel turned down a bit. Some of the mixing changes were a bit jarring during the game, but the crowd noise made up for the lack of any real competition during the match. I was not listening to the surround for Bruno and RHCP, perhaps because I was so amazed at Bruno being a rather wholesome entertainer. Now I know the words to Give It Away Now, but they were too fast for my 11 year old daughter to catch! Good thing that!

Bruno and his band rocked it. It must have been a real experience for him.

They should've awarded Bruno Mars the MVP!
Enjoyed the half-time show and glad there weren't any wardrobe malfunctions... Although the Red Hot Chili Peppers mitigated by not wearing any shirts.

I ran my stuff almost loud until Bruno took center stage - all in 2 channel of course. Great half time show - for a change.

I do hate to admit it, but I actually kind of like Bruno's music. I was prepared to not like him when I heard various folks making a lot of hype - but they guy can sing, and it's pretty good music!

Mark I didn't see the superbowl, but Bruno's first record, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, is actually pretty good IMO. I LOVE the peppers, however. I will have to look this performance up in youtube when I get home. The Peppers did Give It Away?!?! Why not something from the new record? Which, by the way is a GREAT record with a HORRIBLE mastering job. Everything is so loud that there is severe distortion all over the whole thing, and do mean SEVERE!!! I have only heard the CD version though, the vinyl may be better.

I'm way out of touch. I had heard of Bruno Mars but always thought that was the name of a group, like Maroon 5 or something. I just listened to the song samples on Amazon for Doo Wops and Hooligans and like Mark, I kinda like the guy's music. I just assumed every half time show at the Super Bowl would be overhyped trash with a malfunction of some sort.

Rickie,
I have a 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son that help me stay "hip" with the newer artists. Otherwise, I would be clueless on the newer stuff.
I will say they have each introduced me to some decent new stuff that I like. But, I am also very happy that my son likes Foo Fighters, Journey, Tedeschi-Trucks, and various others I catch him rocking out to via his phone as he does dishes and laundry.
My daughter is mostly into trashy teen stuff that I would like banned from existence due to its language, but I will take every dance with her to a Taylor Swift song that I can get at the father-daughter dances. I know lots of people don't like Taylor, but she's pretty, talented, and a far better role model for young girls than so many of the trashy girls out there (aka, keysha, Miley, others i have heard but can't recall their names,etc...)
I think it was emma who intro'd me to Bruno...so she does have some redeeming music interests!

I muted mine during the half time show. Ever since Bruno Mars was busted for cocaine and then butchered Marley during the Grammy's....uggh. :puke: - Sometimes the terseness of my reply can't be blamed on my phone.

Mark I was impressed by the young man and especially his drumming to begin with. His interview with M.Strahan was good as well. Nice chap and he is growing up. I had not heard him before but he was a class act for the half time.
