Although I haven't heard them myself, I've never read a bad thing about ANY of the Vienna Acoustics speakers in any review. For that price, buy them. Even if you don't like them you can sell them & get your $$ back.

I don't own Vienna's, but I have heard them with Emotiva. They sound great. $700 is a pretty decent price on those.

Read my lips, ladies: "There's no such thing as a BAD new pair of speakers!"
From "The Wit & Wisdom of Boomzilla" (one of the shortest books known) LOL

I am going to audition them this week. My only concern is they were in storage for a year and in NC the summers are brutal and if it was not temp controlled then they sat in some serious heat. He says they were in temp controlled but who knows

I heard these when best-buy used to sell them and as stated they are a great speaker, along with some of the other Vienna Acoustics, $700 isn't bad, I hate I hesitated before best-buy stopped selling them, but I always like to get the best prices, so I figured it wasn't meant to be, good luck.

I have liked the Bach speaker in several iterations. You have really nice speakers with the Linn. Are you changing or setting up another system?
By reputation the Vienna Acoustics are easy loads, with lots of people pairing them with modest tube amps.

I owned their big brother for years (the Mozart)and liked them a lot. I'd snap them up for that price!

So after numerous emails the guy finally gives up a serial number. Also said they were grands and they are just the original Bachs. Im kind of on hold cause it sounds fishy

Original Bach speakers were only $1500 list and from late 90s I think. $700 seems a bit high for speakers of that age.

I agree. 500 seems more in line, even 450
