I would EXPECT a phone to be worthless below maybe 200hz.....just when it starts to get interesting....
And maybe also fail in some fashion above 10k or 12k.....

But that’s the beauty of what I want to do - I don’t NEED linearity because I’m only measuring ONE frequency! I need only to see whether the SPL increases or decreases as I vary phase. |
