Problem: With default power on settings, if I'm listening to iPod or CD with no video, and turn off my 2008 vintage Samsung HDTV, the UMC-200 shuts down.
The TV comes on when I power up the UMC-200, regardless of what the input is set up as.
When I try fooling the CEC and ARC settings, then Turning off the TV doesn't turn off the UMC-200, but I have to power my Oppo BDP-103 on and off multiple times before the UMC 200 recognizes it (or vice versa).
I've tried the latest firmware as of a month ago and this hasn't done anything.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
