Just saw the addition of the Fusion AVR and it's really got me thinking. Does anyone have any info in the room correction?
I currently have a LPA-1 and PR-SC886 that I think could get $700 between the two to pay for it. I'm happy with the current sound quality, but currently looking to downsize. The two take up a lot of space. How big of a downgrade in sq would this be? My speakers are Goldenear 3D array up front, super sat 3s in back and a Forcefield sub.

I was under the impression is was a form of EMO-Q2 and performace should be on par with the UMC-200. What you really need to get the most out of it is a laptop running REW and use the PEQs in it.

Since I bought the LPA -1 I probably haven't listened to anything within 20db of reference, I just don't need the power. Except for the lack of network control, this looks perfect.
Do you think this would be a big downgrade in SQ?

If the fusion has the same pre-amp as the Umc-200 , it will be imop a great bump in sq. Btw is the room calibration of this unit applicable to all 7.1 speakers including the back surrounds? Mel

When I bought the SR-8100 (seemingly the same as the Fusion minus the preouts) the rep explained it was basically the EMC-200 with a 7 channel amp added. My SR-8100 is running 5 speakers including an ML Stage (which loves power) with no issues at all.
