I am wondering if anyone here is using the ProBoards app on their mobile devices? I only use my iPad when posting and am just wondering if the app makes any aspects of the experience any better. I don't care about spending a whopping $3 bucks on the app but don't like unused apps sitting around. Anyway any input is greatly appreciated.

I also use it on my iPhone, I used to also use it on my iPad but I've come to prefer Safari on the pad. In any case it's a decent app, though I'd like to see them update it to include more browser features.
Edit: On the iPhone, yes, it is much easier than using a browser. Easier to follow new postings, easier to make posts.

Bought it for my Android mobile device. I don't like it and never use it.

I have never even bothered to try it. I set my phone to view full websites as opposed to the mobile version and use it just like I was on any other computer.

I use it on my iPhone and iPad. I prefer it to using a web browser.

I use it, like it a lot. For browsing 'The Lounge' on a mobile device (phone), it's a must have. For tablet, a regular browser may still be superior.
It's much better for posting photos, and for private messaging too. Only thing I've found you can't do is view polls.

Only thing I've found you can't do is view polls. Yes, for that reason it would be nice if Poll threads had the word 'Poll' in the title. Sometimes when using the app I've responded to the thread without realizing it's a poll. There are other things missing like user profile info and signatures, but they're not needed to respond to most posts. |
