I use a 6HP shop vac. Works every time until the filter starts to get clogged up.

A few drops in each ear and all the pops and clicks from my records go away. ROTFLMAO!!

I always used Q-Tips until this year. My ears had a ringing and I had to see a specialist in November who ran a battery of tests. Come to find out, my ears are what he called too clean. Because there was no ear wax at all and my ear canal was shiny and smooth, there was no insulation. This meant my ears were highly susceptible to cold, wind, water and everything else. He advised me to stop cleaning my ears for at least six months to allow some wax to build up for insulation. Weird how that works. He also advised against taking aspirin because it thins your blood to the point that my ears, being as clean as they are...actually allow the blood flow in my inner ear to amplify and be heard. I guess, a whole slew of other medications can cause ears to ring. Here I thought it was just because of years of listening to loud music.....hehehe
