Add an assist to O'Halloran. Goal three should have been waved - Lundquist not permitted to play the puck with King deep in the crease. Interference penalty didn't have to be called, but the goal should not have counted. Wish this type of call would be review-able so the officials had the opportunity to get it right. Rangers got hosed. well the way I saw it the ranger defence man pushed the player into the goalie so its a good goal.... Not even close. Should be no goal, no interference penalty. Issue is the goaltender's inability to defend the net and make a save. That is an elementary call which is made routinely in the regular season. Too bad the officials are becoming the story. Did you see the puck hit the glass too prior to the winning goal??? |

Looks like the officials need to get there eyes checked after that game. Too bad they missed some crucial calls, could have easily been a different outcome.  |

Really unfortunate, but that the way it goes. Makes you wonder. O'Halloran and Kozari have been used frequently this post-season, and Kozari has been brutal this post season. McCauley is usually pretty good. Had no issues with his game call tonight. O'Halloran performed in his normal lousy manner. Linesmen set some good picks down low too. I hope the GM meetings address video review on goaltender interference, and on all goals scored, since it often involves a bang-bang play. Same with the delay of game penalty that didn't get called (not hitting the glass). A coach's challenge flag similar to the NFL would be good. Give each coach two, and if they are correct, they keep the challenge for additional blown calls as needed. |

They review all that stuff after the game, and i`m sure a few butts got kicked.
Yea in tennis they have a good review system to, if your right, you don`t lose your chance for more reviews, and a set number of reviews for each game, but if it means prolonging the game, chances are they will not do it. Or perhaps they can do it quickly?
